Exercises - Character Design

Week 1 : Introduction & Briefing

 We were given an explanation of the module and the first project.

Week 2 :Adobe Illustrator

 I was given an explanation of Adobe Illustrator and a simple guide on how to use it.

 Week 3: Coloring ＆Shading

I learned how to color line art and techniques to make it look more three-dimensional by applying shadows and light. 

 Week 4: Character Design

 For the first task, you learned how to create a character sketch using chatgpt and trace it with lines.Then I colored the line art I created.

Line Art

I created LineArt based on the character drawing generated by chatgpt.

Coloring 

As I was taught in class, I cleaned up the overlapping lines and colored them. 

Adding shadows and highlights makes it stand out even more.
