Project 1B Part 1: Hearst Mansion

Using these slides and video as a reference, we created Shazam by the pool using masking, resizing, and blurring techniques.

The current layout is like this. In the future, I would like to customize the layout of the tools to make them easier to use. The language used is Japanese, and the notation is different from the explanatory video, so it's confusing, but for now, Japanese is easier to use for me.

I created this while watching the video and slides. I'm glad I learned how to use masks and links. I think I can use it in my future work.

Hearst Mansion with me

I made a standing image of me in a suit. The light is coming from the left. I realized that I made the image too big, so it ended up bigger than Shazam. I'm 174cm tall, so it's a bit weird. In addition, I feel like my image is facing too far forward. I'd like to know how to adjust the angle.

Project 1B: Part 2 A (Recolouring B & W photo) Demo exercise

The task was to add color from other images to a monochrome photograph of a face. There was a lot to learn and I was confused at first, but by watching the video, I was able to add color. Looking back, though, I feel that the colors are a little weak.

I think my second attempt went better than the first. I focused on making the skin tone more masculine and partially changing the color of the jacket. Next time I'd like to edit a photo of my grandfather.
